Incredibly dense compact growth makes this selection from Rancho Santa Ana look very unlike a manzanita. This evergreen shrub is rounded in shape much like a box-wood. In spring, clusters of small urn-shaped flowers grace its stems. Customers often ask for small evergreen shrubs that they do not have to prune. This is one of the shrubs we recommend to them as long as we know that they can provide a sunny site with little supplemental water in summer. Spring. 3 ft. x 3 ft.
