This is new to our garden but we already admire the leathery gray green foliage and its dense and compact habit. The flowers are white with a pink blush. In summer, they are followed by surprisingly large red berries. This midsized evergreen shrub is attractive as a specimen or en masse and, because of its width, can even be used effectively as a woody ground cover.
