((C. creticus x C. albidus) x C. crispus) Cistus x gardianus (Robert Page) is a complex hybrid that has an upright and rounded habit. The aromatic leaves are woolly, soft to the touch and have wavy margins. Flowers can sometimes have a white band in each petal.

This is a genus of small to medium sized evergreen and semi-evergreen shrubs that are mostly from Europe and North Africa. They thrive in full sun and light, well-drained soil. They are drought tolerant when established.
