Clematis 'Darius' (Bakevicius, 1988) is named like Clematis 'Girenas' to memorialize one of the pilots who flew non-stop to Lithuania in 1933 and crashed in Germany. The 6 sepals are light purple with a red purple bar. Red purple anthers top white filaments. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden.
