The sepals of Clematis 'Fryderyck Chopin' (S. Franczak) are very textured and wavy along their margins. They recurve gently at their tips. White stamens that are tipped with creamy yellow anthers contrast nicely with the sepals. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden. Because Clematis 'Fryderyk Chopin' blooms on the previous year's wood, do not hard prune this at the end of winter. Instead, tidy it up and do a light prune after it has finished its first round of bloom. Do not forget to fertilize after you have pruned.
