Clematis 'Ryuan' is an unusual cross between C. integrifolia and C. florida. It was released by Kazushige Ozawa in 2007 and we were able to obtain it from his nephew Mikiyoshi Chikuma. This lax climber has lovely dark 4-sepaled flowers with dark anthers atop white filaments. The flowers fade to a soft purple as they age. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden. Summer. 6 ft. Purple flowers Sun, Part Shade Zones 7, 8, 9 |
