Essentially the tubular flowers of Crocosmia 'Carmine Brilliant' have a "carmine" (red blue) coloration when you look in their interiors. The reverses of the flowers, however, range from orange to scarlet giving the plant a complex coloration. To add to the complexity, the stems and calyces are a complementary purple.
