Dodecatheon jeffreyi is found throughout the Pacific Northwest in vernal meadows and areas of snowmelt. This form from N. California has a basal clump of large lance-shaped leaves. The large shooting-star flowers form in umbels atop the stems. Flowers are pale lavender pink fading to white at their tips.
