During the last decade there has been renewed interest in Geum resulting in many colorful selections that offer an extended season of bloom. Geum 'Herterton Primrose' is named for Herterton House Garden in Northumberland, England, where it was found. The small nodding flowers are soft yellow as the name suggests. They bloom in clusters on one-foot stems. The deciduous foliage is somewhat rugged in appearance. What is especially nice is that, if the spent blooms are removed in the summer, the plant will repeat bloom.

Late spring to early summer; August to September.  2 ft. x 2 ft.

Pale Yellow flowers
