Hydrangea 'Holstein' (H. Schadendorff, 1928) is a mid-season bloomer that needs shade to perform its best. Given dappled shade or protection from afternoon sun, it is very free flowering producing mop heads of shapely individual sterile florets with serrated sepals.

Midsummer.  4-6 ft.
