The Artemisia-like cut foliage of Senecio viravira stays silvery blue year-round. Stems and leaf-reverses are exceptionally woolly and soft to the touch. At high summer, it produces clusters of sulfur-yellow flowers. This can sprawl quite broadly and makes an attractive woody groundcover. We grow it in our new no-water border.
Summer to fall. 18 in. x 3-4 ft.
