A Northwest native. Spiraea densiflora was collected in a forest opening in the Washington Cascades at about 4,000 feet. It forms a dense, low mounded shrub with rounded foliage. In the fall, the foliage takes on yellow and orange tones. The inflorescenses are dense and somewhat flattened.
