A Northwest native. Spiraea densiflora was collected in a forest opening in the Washington Cascades at about 4,000 feet. It forms a dense, low mounded shrub with rounded foliage. In the fall, the foliage takes on yellow and orange tones. The inflorescenses are dense and somewhat flattened. Early to midsummer. 2 ft. x 2 ft. Pink flowers Sun, Part Shade Zones 5, 6, 7, 8 |
