SW N. America. We have been growing yucca in our rock gardens for many years along with other rain-proof dessert agaves and dasylirion. Yucca whipplei has always appealed to us because of its slender, toothed, gray green foliage. Over time this can become a lovely specimen. Perhaps some year we will be treated to a towering bloom spike dangling with bell-shaped flowers. Summer. 3 ft. x 4 ft. Cream flowers Sun Zones 7, 8, 9 |
