China, Korea, Japan. Hyssops are fine plants for attracting bees and other polinators into the garden. Their rugged, somewhat rounded and toothed leaves are handsome and have a minty aroma when rubbed or crushed. The 4-1/2 inch dense spikes of small tubular flowers are showy over an extraordinarily long season. We have found Agastache rugosa to be a fine plant to naturalize in a meadow garden.
