    Native to much of Western North America east toward Quebec, Antennaria microphylla is a tidy groundcover that is prized for its silvery appearance.  We use it in a rockery where its evergreen, spoon-shaped leaves are always attractive but it can be used in many types of open sites where its foliage can serve as a complement to neighboring plants.
