    Asarum splendens has very attractive silver mottled, dark green evergreen foliage which deserves a special place in the woodland garden.  The thickened leaves are so lovely you often miss the odd, 2-inch, 3-lobed flowers that rest on the ground below.  Give it regular watering during the dry months.
