Because of its compact habit, early blooming Aster novi-belgii 'Alice Haslam' (A.H. Harrison, ca. 1958) is excellent for the border or for containers. The nicely rounded shape shows off the masses of small, single flowers to great advantage. This has recently been moved from Genus Aster to Genus Symphyotrichum.
Late summer. 10 in. x 18 in.
Rose Red flowers
