(C. Jackmanii x C. patens) The dark slightly cupped flowers of Clematis 'Madame Édouard André' (Baron-Veillard, ca. 1892) fade to mauve as they age. One interesting detail is occasional white flecking on the sepals. Another is the contrastng creamy yellow stamens.
