Joy Creek Photo Archive (c) all rights reserved	For more than a decade, we have grown Clematis patens 'Komurasaki', a selection of the species Clematis patens which is found in the wild on the island of Kyushu and named by Minoru Hosino. In spring it attracts many photographers when it covers itself from head to toe with large soft rounded flowers. It has also been generous with a modest repeat bloom throughout the summer. The anthers are a subtle green yellow. All of our Clematis are two year old plants that are suitable for immediate planting in your garden. Spring with summer repeat. 8 ft.
