What is not so evident are its flowers that hide under the leaves and are rarely visible. Even if they are out of sight, they are not out of mind because they produce a delicious fragrance that perfumes the autumn garden. This older European hybrid, a cross between E. macrophylla and E. pungens reflexa, is fairly new to the trade in North America.
