The main flower is an inch-and-a-half long but the stamens protrude an additional inch beneath giving it a very long appearance. Fuchsia 'Blue Eyes' is somewhat trailing in habit with rounded mid-green leaves that have pointed tips. Summer to autumn. 18" x 3 ft. Red/Violet Pink flowers *Sun, Part Shade Zones 8, 9, 10*
In the maritime Pacific Northwest, we grow hardy Fuchsias in full sun where they bloom non-stop from late spring to first frost. In hotter climates, we recommend giving Fuchsias protection from the afternoon sun. Fuchsias make wonderful subjects incontainers and for the mixed border.
