Although the flowers in and of themselves are not as showy as many of the newest geum cultivars, their contrast with the chartreuse leaves of this selection makes for an dazzling picture. Because this is a selection from Geum coccinea, its leaves are somewhat rounded and lobed forming a cup where the stems meets the leaves. They are lightly hairy to the touch.
