We grow this mat-forming perennial from the mountains of central and southern Europe in a sunny border that has above-average drainage. The evergreen foliage of Globularia cordifolia is spoon-shaped and somewhat glossy, forming dense rosettes. The flowers are in spherical heads on short flowering stems reaching to 5 inches. Grow it in a rockery, in a wall planting or as we have done, in a sunny border.
