This selection has proven surprisingly drought tolerant and cold hardy for gardeners in western Oregon. The species originates in the Victoria/New South Wales area of Austrailia. The specific name refers to the wooliness of the narrow leaves of this evergreen groundcover. Flowers are spider-like in appearance.
