We have long grown Hosta plantaginea in the garden and rely on it for its shapely, mid-sized leaves and especially for its late, deliciously fragrant flowers in August. This 1993 introduction from Walters Gardens adds yet another feature to an already fantastic plant. Here the long tubular flowers are truly double in a hose-in-hose fashion. Enjoy the shiny mid-green heart-shaped leaves as you await the late season flowering of Hosta p. `Venus'.
