The name Hydrangea 'Mousmee' (R. Talbot, 1960), Japanese for "girl," is well suited to this lovely shrub. The magenta infertile florets mature to a blue-washed purple complimenting the purple stems. The bright blue fertile florets are a pleasing contrast.
