When visitors approach our hydrangea patch, Hydrangea 'Taube'(Pigeon) is the first plant they talk about. The infertile florets are huge and cobalt blue and stand out so clearly against the sky blue fertile florets. The foliage is very wide and very green. No wonder they are talking. In our gardens it stays just under 5 ft. but could grow larger. Developed by the Federal Research Institute for Horticulture, Wadenswil, Switzerland, 1979.
Early summer to midsummer. 5 ft. x 4 ft.
Cobalt Blue flowers
