Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' is a spectacular hydrangea that we recommend for customers in colder climates because it flowers on the current year's growth. Cut to the ground at the end of winter, it can achieve a height of six feet and bear masses of huge rounded heads of white flowers up to ten inches across. Uncut, the shrub can reach ten feet or more, but the flower heads tend to be smaller. A Great Plant Picks selection.
Early summer to midsummer. 10 ft. x 5 ft.
