Hydrangea serrata 'Acuminata' ('Bluebird') is a graceful short lacecap Hydrangea with dark green crinkled leaves coming to a narrow point. The flowers are white when new, blushing to pink with age, and then facing downward showing their green-red reverses after the floral heads have been fertilized. The leaf stems are red. All in all, a very worthy shrub for the small garden. Early summer to midsummer. 3-3.5 ft. x 3 ft. Pink flowers Part Shade Zones 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 |
