In our garden this has taken a very long time to reach sufficient height to be able to twine up into shrub branches. Despite its slowness, its foliage is so very showy that we have not complained. The all-gold foliage is pinnate in arrangement with individual leaves tapering at their tips. Flowers, which have as yet been scarce, are five-lobed and appear in clusters of five. To date this had not grown above five feet.
