Jeffersonia diphylla is another plant that our visitors invariably are drawn to and one that we never have enough of. As the name indicates, it has two leaves. They are kidney shaped and about 6 inches wide. In late spring a slender stalk arises with a single cup-shaped flower. The subsequent seed capsule is also attractive.
Late spring. 8 in. x 6 in.
