This selection of English lavander was made at Folgate Nursery in Norfolk, England. It was chosen because it comes into bloom later than Lavandula 'Munstead,' the standard for lavender, and because it grows more quickly. The flowering stems are 10-inches long which makes them easy to harvest. The 2-inch flower spikes are an attractive dark violet. In habit Lavandula 'Folgate' is fairly upright. Its gray green foliage is mildly aromatic.
July onward. 24 in. x 22 in.
