Lavandula 'Irene Doyle' (DeBaggio, 1981) is often called the Two Season lavender because it blooms twice in the season. This English lavender cultivar has 8-inch stems with flowering spikes of purple calyces bearing violet corollas. Very fragrant.

June; September to frost.  20 in. x 32 in.

Violet flowers

Sun     Zones 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
This is a cultivar of Lavandula angustifolia. Lavenders need full sun and very good drainage. Because of our rainy winters, we amend our soil with 1/4 ten gravel and top dress with the same to keep plant stems and foliage from resting on wet soil.
