Developed at Skylark Nursery, Kenwood, CA in the mid-1980's. This is a prolific bloomer, creating almost a haze of flowers when it comes into bloom. The leaves are gray green. Flowers have dark violet calyces and bright violet blue corollas. The RHS monograph on lavanders describes the aroma as "pleasant." We agree.
