Customers often ask for the orange grass in our gravel bed. In truth, Libertia peregrinans is really a grass-like iris relative. The stiff upright blades are actually pea-soup green with orange around their central ribs and along their margins giving the whole plant an orange glow. Panicles of small white flowers bloom within the foliage in late spring.

May to June.  16-18 in. x 18 in.

Creamy White flowers
