Thanks to the JC Raulston Arboretum who gave us Liriope muscari 'PeeDee Ingot' as a gift when they visited our gardens. We have grown this in too hot and dry a site and the grass-like foliage has burned in the recent very dry summer. The foliage really is yellow and is wonderful to use as a contrast in mixed borders or to lighten up a shade garden. The flower spike reaches up to 12 inches.
Late summer. 8-10 in. x 10 in.
Lilac purple flowers
