Marrubium incanum produce a pair of very gray, scalloped leaves that develop beneath each of the five to six whorls of tiny flowers that rise at regular intervals up the blooming stems. These leaves recurve back until they almost touch the stem below giving the plant a distinctive appearance. The tiny flowers are blushed with pale lilac as they open, but soon fade to white. We grow this in our low-water border where flowers persist through most of the growing season.
