Miscanthus 'Purpurascens' is a shorter grass whose green leaves turn iridescent red and purple in the fall accenting its silver plumes. Because our summers are often dry, we have found we need to water it more than other maiden grasses if we want it to put on a good display. Autumn. 3-4 ft. x 2.5 ft. Sun Zones 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 |
