Native to west Texas, New Mexico and Northern Mexico. Muhlenbergia dubia is a low, dense, clump-forming grass with finely textured, cylindrical green blades. This mostly evergreen grass is quite drought tolerant and makes an attractive addition to mediterranean borders. Airy plumes in late summer and early fall. Bloom spikes can rise up to 30 inches.
