 | Apparently in the wild Olearia macrodonta can reach 20 ft. in height. We have grown it on our dry sunny hillside for more than a decade and it has never reached more than 7 feet. Its large holly-like leaves are thick and evergreen, but not at all prickly. Their gray green color is a perfect complement to the off-white daisies that generously cover this plant.
