The name of this Japanese selection means "white dragon" which describes the evergreen leaves which are edged in white, occasionally with additional striping or double-striping. This carefree groundcover is so versatile it can grow in sun or shade. The tiny flowers are white or pale purple. Near the end of the autumn, small cobalt fruits appear adding a little late-season zing. This is sometimes sold under the name 'Pamela Harper' the wonderful garden writer and photographer who introduced it to the public.
