It is hard to believe that Rosa 'Thelma' has been in the trade since 1927. That is a testament to its vigor and beauty. This cross between R. wichuriana and R. 'Paul's Scarlet' has shiny deep green foliage of good substance. The large, semi-double flowers are a blend of coral and deep pink with a bit of yellow toward the center. For those of you who dislike thorns, 'Thelma' has very few of them and those are large and visible.
