From the Mexican Sierra Madre Oriental. We acquired Salvia darcyi the San Antonio Botanical Garden many years ago. The triangular foliage is light green with a sweet pungency. The dazzling 1.5-inch vermilion flowers carry on for a surprisingly long time.
