Eastern N. America. Sibbaldiopsis tridentata is a semi-evergreen mounding shrublet with three-part leaves each part having three teeth at their blunt tips. Shades of red, gold and purple are prominent in the autumn. A woody groundcover that should be used more often. This needs good drainage.
