Shining meadow rue. The common name refers to the gloss on the dark green, somewhat fern-like, divided leaves. The flowerheads are similar to the more familiar Yellow meadow rue, Thalictrum flavum subsp. glaucum. Thalictrum lucidum has been a sturdy plant in our gardens tolerating light shade and occasional dry periods.
Midsummer. 3-5 ft. x 1 ft.
