This is one of the most common perennial groundcovers in the Douglas fir forests of Oregon and Washington where it spreads by slowly creeping rhizomes which are dense enough to suppress weeds. The white flowers rise above the bright green foliage in loose panicles. Vancouveria hexandra is deciduous. A Great Plant Picks selection.
