This South American beauty has self-seeded nicely in our garden. We admire the erect, stiff, sparsely foliaged, sand-papery stems that add verticality to the garden without blocking the view of neighboring plants. Even after the blooms of Verbena bonariensis are spent, the colorful calyces remain attractive. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflys.
