In a mild climate, this upright, evergreen shrub would bloom much of the winter into the spring. As the name suggests, however, for us it offers its fragrant flowers in early spring. Pink buds open to reveal clusters of white to pale pink flowers. Later in the season, metalic blue fruits develop. Often both flowers and fruits can be found at the same time, making for an attractive vignette. Viburnum tinus `Spring Bouquet' is sensitive to cold drying winds, so plant it where it will be sheltered during the winter.
