This wonderful ornamental grape grows on a pillar in our retail area near a Humulus 'Aureus'. The six-inch leaves start out gray green but gradually turn plum, then dark purple. Tucked in among the leaves are tight clusters of almost black grapes. Vitis vinifera 'Purpurea' has very beautiful crimson fall color. A Great Plant Picks selection. Early summer. 22 ft.
